Our Longsuffering God

God is not willing that any should perish...

Genesis 19:11

And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

Here in lies a snapshot of the ‘Soul of Humanity’ outside the protective umbrella of God’s mercy.

No longer was judgment eminent, but while they were amid judgment, they wearied themselves to work against God rather than repent.

While we observe the darkness of this world, it is never lost on God, the faint cry within the heart of humanity…

Who is God, where is God, how can I find him?

The world may stumble in darkness trying to find the door of their own will but God is ever reaching and beckoning us toward his will:

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Don’t let the darkness of this world cause you to stumble, repent and look to Jesus. He will be the light to find your way!
